LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump on Thursday demanded the resignation of the presidents of two major television networks, CNN and NBC, who were accused of being partial against him.
Specifically, Trump asked on Twitter for the departure of the chairman of CNN news channel Jeff Zucker, who was repeatedly criticized by the leader and NBC chief Andy Lack.
"The hatred and extreme bias related to me on the part of CNN hampered their ideas and incapacitated them. Little Jeff Z did a terrible job, his audience is bad. AT & T should fire you to save your credibility! Trump said.
Immediately afterward, the leader also shot at NBC, another popular broadcaster in the country.
- What's happening on CNN is also taking place on another level on other broadcasters, with NBC being the worst. The good news is that Andy Lack is about to get fired (?) For incompetence, and many (things) worse - Trump pointed out on Twitter.
The president refers almost daily to CNN and other media outlets, including NBC, as "fake news media" attacks that run into long-running newspapers such as The Washington Post.
In addition, Trump accused on Tuesday (28) the technology giant Google of "tinkering" in its search engine in the network to "suppress conservative voices" and mainly offer negative news about his Government.
The words of the leader were said amid the growing alert in the United States on social networks about the dissemination of false content.
